is a business that was established online in 2015 to create and sell unique artwork and artisan products. We officially opened our brick and mortar location, in beautiful historic downtown Ruston, LA, in October of 2017. Our revised mission was expanded to include representation, promotion and advancement of local artists by providing a quality venue and gallery, an effective online presence, and creating stimulating and continuous art-related opportunities and events. We specialize in assisting the first-time, seasoned and corporate art collector in connecting with the that special piece that brings enjoyment and enhancement to a home or business. We also bring art and people together for engagement, discovery, learning and opportunity.

We are committed to creating a place where local, as well as national and international, art is exhibited and sold and local artists are promoted and supported through exhibitions and programs that strengthen and sustain our community. We provide consulting services to artists, private and corporate collectors, as well as the first time art buyer. Our event venue offers the opportunity to experience and celebrate all of the arts including: culinary, entertaining, fashion, film, literature, media, music, and performance.

Covid-19
Dear Art Lovers and Patrons:
Since we opened our doors, the mantra at Ruston Artisans has been “A Passion for Art; a Heart for Community.” That is especially true during this difficult time. The safety and well-being of our visitors and team are paramount and nothing is more important to us than taking care of each other and our community. To that end, we are doing everything possible to aid in the prevention of the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) while protecting and advancing the arts.
We have put several practices into place, and are in the process of enacting new practices, so that we are able to share our love of the arts with you without putting anyone at risk.

1. We are currently open, but are asking all patrons to call for an appointment or call us for entrance.
​
2. We are in the process of re-building our website to make it more robust and offer enhanced shopping opportunities.
​
3. Art will continue to be sold online or during a visit. It can be picked up inside, curbside or delivered.
​
4. A scheduling feature is being added and will be utilized to participate in exhibition receptions and events. The scheduling feature would also allow artists to be able to utilize our venue for studio time.
​
5. Patrons may go online or call us to schedule a private time to see an exhibition. To be socially responsible this should only be individuals who are currently cohabitating (people who live in the same household) to avoid exposure to others.

6. Enhanced cleaning procedures are in place.
​
7. Exhibitions are also be offered online via our website and/or social media. Our goal is that everyone has an opportunity to experience our brilliant artists.
​
8. Classes may be attended onsite, online, or provided in the comfort of your own home via a link with the instructor for the same price currently charged, if materials are being picked up. If delivery is required, an additional fee may be required. If the participant has his or her own materials, the price would be reduced. Classes include serious and fun art and possibly other types of classes for individual adults, children and also for families.

9. Art and craft kits will be sold and available for pick up with instructions on how to complete the project or via an online tutorial.
​
10. Patrons and guests are asked to wear a mask in keeping with the State mandate, unless exempted. Social distancing guidelines are in place.
​
11. Staff will wear a mask, unless exempted. If exempted, they will socially distance.
​
12. Reception food will be prepurchased or in packaging for safety.

We pray that you and your families remain safe, healthy and financially stable. We are in this together.
