Christian artist Linda Dwyer is a local of Ruston, Louisiana and owner of Joy Works Paintings. Linda was not an experienced artist when she began her painting career in 2016. She has painted over 1,600 pieces of artwork in just over a four year span and considers her paintings to be a definite gift from God. Her purpose is to paint for God’s glory and people’s joy. She creates angels, Crosses, abstracts, and landscapes using acrylic mixed media.

Linda prays over each canvas and then paints from her heart. The goal behind her paintings is to bring the viewer joy, peace, hope and ideally to be drawn to Jesus. In her abstracts and landscapes, she paints a small Cross for the viewer to find…like finding a hidden treasure.
